Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the fouth Cycling and Radiology in Europe program, to be held in the Loire Valley in France from May 12-18, 2019.  Once again, the theme of the course will be Essentials of Radiology, and the medical program will cover the spectrum of imaging with a focus on what every radiologist needs to know, including body MRI and breast imaging. There will be a new series of lectures and once again, there will be many interactive sessions including case-based review sessions, games and “round table” discussion on non-medical topics important to your practice management. CME credits will be granted to all delegates.  You can see more details on the course program section of the website.

Each day after the lectures, there will be biking and hiking through mostly flat terrain sometimes following the river banks, often through vinyards and always connecting villages and towns dotted at short distances aparts so you can stop for a glass of wine or a tasty lunch along the way.  There will be varying levels of difficulty to suit each hiker’s and rider’s needs.

This year, we will stay in a charming hotel located within the ancient framework of the massive Abbey de Fontevraud.  The beautifully designed hotel restaurant is Michelin-starred.  A perfect French village with cafés, shops, bars and restaurants sits right outside the door and the magnificent chateaux of Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chinon, Saumur and Montreuil-Belay are sprinkled along the biking and hiking routes.    For the quality of biking, hiking, food, wine and culture, there’s no place in the work better than France and no place better in France than the Loire Valley.

Pick up and dropoff will be from the gorgeous city of Tours easily accessible from Paris and CDG airport by TGV bullet train.  During the trip, we will cruise the Liore River aboard L’Amarante, a beautiful wooden boat; we will visit, taste and have dinner deep in the rocky wine cellars of Bouvet-Ladubay; and we will enjoy a guided visit of the medieval town of Chinon, famous for is rich powerful wine and towering chateau.  More details about the social program can be found on the travel program section of this site.

Once again we hope to combine education with great food, great wine, great culture and exercise in the European countryside. We truly hope you can join us in France in May 2019 for the fourth edition of this unique conference experience.   If you are interested in joining us, you can go the registration section of the website to sign up.
